Meet Memory Taylor

Memory is a mother of three boys, a wife to a retired Army National Guard Lieutenant Colonel who served three deployments, and a lifelong advocate for strong families and thriving communities. Her life has been shaped by service — both through her family’s military commitment and through her own decades of work supporting children, parents, and educators across Oklahoma.

With more than twenty years of experience in child care, Memory has seen firsthand how early learning, stable care, and supportive environments shape a child’s future. As a small business owner, she understands the realities families and local businesses face every day — balancing budgets, managing rising costs, and building something that lasts.

Memory has spent years volunteering in public schools, working directly with teachers, students, and families. These experiences have given her a clear view of what classrooms need, what educators are up against, and how essential strong public schools are to the future of every community.

Rooted in family, service, and community, Memory brings practical experience and a steady, grounded perspective. She is committed to strengthening early childhood programs, supporting public schools, improving access to health care, and making everyday life more affordable for Oklahoma families. Her work is guided by a simple belief: when families thrive, communities grow stronger.

Affordablity For All Families

Affordability is a family issue. When groceries, utilities, and insurance cost more, it strains every household. Lowering those costs helps families thrive.

As a mom I understand what it takes to budget and manage a household. As a child care center director I see first hand, hardworking Oklahoma households needing dual income earners just to make ends meet and still feeling pressures of rising costs

Education

Strong early childhood care and fully funded public schools giving educators the proven tools they need to help every child thrive. That’s how we invest in Oklahoma’s future.

Education is a long‑term investment in Oklahoma’s future. With zero to three being a critical period in child development, we must strengthen our existing child‑care infrastructure. We must fully fund our public schools and support educators with proven, evidence‑based tools that help measure and improve student outcomes.

Health Care

Families need reliable, affordable care — physical and mental. Supporting both keeps our communities strong.

Every family deserves access to reliable, affordable health care. That includes making sure Oklahomans are insured, strengthening primary care, expanding access to mental‑health services. When families can get the care they need — physical and mental — our entire state becomes stronger.
